After the season finished the following teams moved from the league:
- Rugby Town Reserves to the Warwickshire Combination
Hinckley Athletic Reserves left the league. They rejoined the Senior League in 1956/57 but I’m unsure if they played any league football for the two seasons in between.
Leicester Nomads disbanded at the end of the season.
