Note that due to the Covid-19 outbreak the last games played in the Leicestershire Senior League took place on Saturday 14th March 2020. The league tables published here are the tables as they stood after that date.
Before the start of the season the following teams moved to the league:
From the Leicester & District Football League
Dunton & Broughton United, Fleckney Athletic, Kibworth Town and Northfield Emerald.
From the North Leicestershire Football League
Bottesford, Greenhill YC, Newbold Verdon, Rothley Imperial, Sporting Markfield and Sutton Bonington.
A new club called Sileby Athletic also joined the league this season. They had previously been running teams in Sunday football and this was their first move to a Saturday league.

After the season finished the following teams moved to the newly formed Leicestershire County Football League for the 2020/21 season:
- Greenhill YC and Sileby Athletic.
Newbold Verdon merged with Barlestone St. Giles, and Anstey Nomads Swifts left the league.
