After the season finished the following teams moved from the league:

  • Narborough & Littlethorpe and Rolls-Royce & District to the Leicestershire Senior League.
  • Rolls-Royce & District and Wigston Fields Reserves to the Leicestershire Football Combination.
  • Bardon Hill Sports and Moira United to the North Leicestershire Football League.

Wigston Council Old Boys left the league after merging with Midland Athletic of the Leicestershire Senior League to form Wigston Town. The new team will take the place of the Midland Athletic teams in the Leicestershire Senior League and Leicestershire Football Combination.

Burleigh Community College and Hathern merged to form Cottons Sports and left to play in the North Leicestershire Football League.

Desford Colliery Reserves, Leicestershire Constabulary Reserves and Sapcote United Reserves also left the league.

From next season the league would run with only two reserve divisions.

Name changes for next season

  • Oakham United became Oakham Town.
  • Ravenhurst Casuals became Braunstone Town.
