Belvoir & District Football League
The two incarnations of the Belvoir & District Football League that I know of are covered on this page. The league comprises of village teams in the Vale of Belvoir which is located to the North East of Melton towards Grantham.
The first instance of this league was formed in the 1896/97 season and only ran for the single season. A second Belvoir & District League ran between 1914/15 and some time in the 1920s.
What do we know about this league ?
Not a great deal ! I have the teams that participated in the first instance of this league. For the second instance I have the participating teams up until 1923/24 but then there is a gap in the information that I have. The league may have been run as a knockout competition from 1924 to 1927.
