The league changed it’s name to the Leicestershire Senior League for the start of the season.
The season started on Saturday August 26th. Matches were played midweek and the following Saturday before the league was suspended due to the outbreak of the 2nd World War. The table at that point was as follows:

The league remained suspended until a meeting on 18th October where it was decided to resume with a new membership.
Gresley Rovers, Moira United and Overseal Institute left the Senior League to play in the South Derbyshire Football League (to reduce the amount of travelling needed).
HR Mansfield Sports and Measham Imperial left the league.
Moving to the league were Coalville Town, Ibstock Penistone Rovers and Loughborough College, who had all started the season in the Central Amateur League, again to reduce the amount of travelling that was required.
