This competition only ran for four seasons and entry was limited to the reserve teams of clubs from the Leicestershire Senior League or it’s equivalent or above. I think the reason that this competition was formed was because of the dominance that these reserve teams were having in the Junior Cup and other cup competitions. After four seasons the reserve teams were allowed back into the Junior Cup.
